Andrew Weil, M.D., Pioneer in the Field of Integrative Medicine, to Speak at Cardiovascular Disease Management Symposium
Third Annual Event Takes Place Thursday, October 1 & Friday, Oct. 2 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort
PHOENIX – (September 14, 2015) – Andrew Weil, M.D., an industry leader and pioneer in the field of integrative medicine, will speak at Arizona’s most attended cardiology symposium , held Thursday, Oct. 1 and Friday, Oct. 2, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix.
Directed by Richard Heuser, M.D., FACC, FACP, FESC, FSCAI , Chief of Cardiology at St. Luke’s Medical Center (and in practice with Phoenix Heart Center, which is part of Physician Group of Arizona, Inc.), the two-day symposium will feature case-based approaches to cardiovascular disease management, along with how to navigate the new healthcare environment.
Dr. Weil will specifically address how to prevent the escalation of diabetes mellitus in the United States, along with how to reduce dependence on expensive drugs and technologies.
