Dr. Richard Heuser, chief of cardiology at St. Luke’s Medical Center, was in Korea presenting at a cardiology meeting when I caught up with him by phone the other day.
He had just published his sixth textbook, “Renal Denervation: A New Approach to the Treatment of Resistant Hypertension,” in conjunction with Dr. Markus Schlaich and Dr. Horst Sievert. It is written for cardiologists, nephrologists and urologists, as well as allied health professionals and medical device companies.
