St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center was founded in 1969 and offers 124 inpatient beds and a full spectrum of outpatient services. We serve children, adolescents, adults and seniors requiring psychiatric and chemical dependency care.
Philosophy of Care
Our philosophy of care recognizes each patient as an individual, a member of a family and a member of a community. We believe each patient has the right to receive quality care, regardless of disability, race, creed, color, sexual orientation or national origin. We maintain a holistic approach to treatment that addresses each person’s physiological, psychological, spiritual and social needs.
Treatment Plans
Individualized treatment plans are developed through a collaborative effort between each patient and our caring, experienced, professional staff.
Professional Staff
Our staff includes a team of multi-disciplinary professionals, including licensed psychiatrists, primary care physicians, behavioral health technicians, occupational therapists, case managers, dietitians, licensed professional counselors, licensed social workers, recreation therapists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nurse practitioners.
Programs
Each program is designed to meet the needs of each patient and family. Our goal is to work with each patient to identify goals and coping skills that will help improve the ability to function from day to day and provide tools for the future. To determine which level of care is appropriate, patients undergo a thorough medical, psychiatric and psychosocial assessment. The assessment is used, in collaboration with the patient and family, to develop a unique Master Treatment Plan. Each program is designed to provide in-depth assessment, treatment and discharge planning.
